Lebanese Garlic Lemon Chicken
Here is a delicious chicken recipe that comes from Lebanon. This, easy to make, chicken recipe does not rely upon complicated ingredients and techniques. The only trick to give you a tasty dinner that your family will enjoy is the slow cooking and the special lemon and garlic marinade.
Ingredients:
For the Chicken
4 Skin-on, boneless chicken breasts
2 Fresh Lemons completely juiced
6 cloves garlic
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
1 tsp Basil
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
6 large potatoes cut into 1/4 inch thick slices
For the ‘thoom’ marinade (Arabic for garlic)
4 cloves of garlic
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 tsp salt
a dash of cayenne.
Directions:
Blend the lemon juice, basil, garlic, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper to make the marinade.
Plsce the chicken breasts in a deep pan or bowl and pour the marinade over it making sure that all of the chicken is covered. Put a lid or cover on the container and let it sit in the refridgerator over night. In the morning turn the chicken over or move the breasts around. Let the chicken marinate for approximately 4 more hours.

4 Chicken breasts, split
4 Eggs
1 t Garlic powder
Tomato wedges
Dairy sour cream
1 t Dried whole oregano, -crumbled
1/4 c Butter or margarine, melted
Shredded Ice burg lettuce
1/4 c Bottled taco sauce
1/2 ts Salt
2 c Fine dry bread crumbs
2 ts Chili powder
2 ts Ground cumin
Shredded Longhorn or Cheddar cheese
Remove skin from chicken breasts and wipe with damp paper towels. Beat eggs in a pie plate or shallow bowl with a fork; beat in taco sauce and salt. Combine bread crumbs, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder and oregano in second pie plate or dish.
Dip chicken breasts in egg mixture, then into crumb mixture to coat well. Arrange in a single layer in a large jelly-roll pan; drizzle with melted butter. Bake in a 375 F oven for 35 minutes until crisp and tender.

Ingredients of chicken fried steak recipe:
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 pounds boneless beef round stead, cut 3/4-inch thick
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups beef broth or stock
Step by step of chicken fried steak recipe:
Combine flour and seasonings in a small bowl.
Cut steak into 6 serving pieces. Dredge steak with seasoned flour, pressing as much flour as possible into meat. Reserve any leftover flour.
Heat oil in a skillet.
Add steak and cook until brown, about 5 minutes per side.
Transfer meat to at least a 3-1/2 quart slow cooker. Pour in the broth.
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high 4-5 hours.

Directions:
In a plastic bag: mix the flour, cayenne, chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, and salt and toss together. Add the chicken cubes and shake until evenly coated with the spice mixture.

I love these recipes. I used chicken breast. I also like to make it with angel hair spaghetti. It is absolutely yummy and very easy to make. I like to sprinkle crushed pepper on top. My family loves this, even my oh-so-picky 5 years old! I use the cream of chicken with herbs soup, we like the extra kick.

1 chicken
1 cup onion, chopped
2-3 stalks celery, chopped
1 cup bell peppers, chopped
½ cup butter
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can mushroom soup
1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
16 ounce spaghetti
2 cups Velveeta cheese or parmesan cheese, for topping

Boil chicken with onion, celery, butter, salt, and pepper until chicken is done.
